<p class="MsoNormal">HPCDP’s partners in the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Section of the Public Health Division are conducting a needs assessment survey as part of its work for the Federal Title V Maternal and Child Health Block Grant. The Block Grant, which
funds a variety of MCH programs and services, requires that a needs assessment be conducted every five years. Results from these surveys, which are a part of Oregon’s needs assessment, are essential for identifying statewide priorities for public health work
on behalf of Oregon’s mothers, infants, children and adolescents. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">As state and local health promotion and chronic disease prevention efforts reach maternal and child health populations, we encourage you to participate in the needs assessment survey. The survey asks questions about a variety key maternal
and child health topics, their importance to the health of your community/program, and the extent to which your community/programs currently addresses the topics. It takes 15-20 minutes to complete.
