leadership to ensure all people in Oregon live, work, play and learn in communities that support health and optimal quality of life. The awardee has demonstrated experience in developing long-standing and trusted public health infrastructure, cultivating new
leaders and promoting a vision of the future of public health. The awardee should be well-known and recognized for their passion, leadership, accomplishments and dedication to health promotion and chronic disease prevention. This is the first time this award
