<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the Ballot Measure 108 (tobacco tax) virtual roundtable on September 23rd to review and discuss the CBO Advisory Group’s recommendations for how new tobacco tax
revenues can be allocated to reduce tobacco use inequities.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-size:12.0pt">Attached</span></b><span style="font-size:12.0pt"> are presentation slides and meeting notes, as well as the full Advisory Group recommendations.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">OHA began convening the 21-member CBO Advisory Group last January to ensure the tobacco tax allocation process centered community voice and shared power with communities who are experiencing the greatest tobacco
burden and have not had a seat at the table in past decision-making processes. <o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The roundtable discussion was an exciting milestone in this systems change process with participation from more than 80 individuals representing state, local and tribal governments, community-based organizations,
and national advocacy organizations. The roundtable marked the beginning of an ongoing discussion about how we best work together to reduce tobacco use inequities in Oregon.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
