Downtown Corvallis Association (Oregon Main Street community) seeks Executive Director
The Corvallis Downtown Association is seeking an Executive Director to coordinate downtown revitalization activities using the Main Street 4-Point Approach®. Applicant should have proven ability to work with both public and private sector including members of the downtown community. Excellent organizational, communications, and writing skills required. Applicant must demonstrate competence through education and/or experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing, economic development, small business management, volunteer and/or nonprofit management, public relations, planning, urban design, architecture, and historic preservation. Starting salary $55,000 depending on experience plus medical and retirement benefits. The Museum At Warm Springs is seeking an Executive Director. The Executive Director oversees activities of The Museum, leads community engagement, and works to establish financial stability. Directs and participates in fundraising, marketing, development of strategic vision, colletion development, general management, financial management and fostering volunteer/board/Tribal relations of The Museum At Warm Springs. Historic Windows: Managing for Preservation, Maintenance, and Energy Conservation
Portland, OR
August 27-28, 2018
in cooperation with Indow Windows, the Oregon Department of Transportation, and the Oregon State Historic Preservation Office

Seminar Overview: Historic windows are both critical components of a building's weather envelope and valuable character-defining features worth retaining for architectural and environmental reasons. Learn about the rich history and variety of wood, steel, and aluminum windows and construction methodology. Explore the maintenance and rehabilitation techniques that allow windows to have long and sustainable service lives. Review energy conservation and economic issues as factors facing managers in the restore-or-replace debate and regulations relating to preservation of these assets.
