Oregon Heritage COVID-19 Commiseration Call April 8, 1pm-2pm

Join Oregon Heritage for a one-hour chat. We appreciate the sacrifice your organization is making for the health of the community and the state. Let's check in with our network, hear people's approaches to the situation, and feel connected. We will have a couple of presenters share for just five minutes about what their organization is doing right now. Perhaps, what they are thinking too. Then we will field sharing - questions and ideas for the rest of the call. We hope you leave the call feeling less alone and more connected to a network you can call upon.

ATTENTION! Make sure heritage is heard in impact survey!

Please take a few moments to fill out this survey so that the impact on heritage during the COVID-19 crisis is not lost in the mix. We have heard of several organizations that have been dramatically impacted in the past few weeks and that story needs to be told so that agencies like Travel Oregon and Business Oregon can take into account the heritage impact.

Business Oregon, Travel Oregon, and Small Business Development Centers have partnered to develop this survey to understand how COVID-19 is impacting businesses across the state. Information gathered by this survey will be vital to policymakers who are working to provide assistance to businesses during this crisis. Individual responses to this survey are completely confidential and will not be shared publicly, only aggregate information will be shared.

Please find the survey link here<https://development.oregon4biz.com/acton/ct/14786/s-03a9-2004/Bct/l-sf-cl-7011G000000Ut0AQAS-19af/l-sf-cl-7011G000000Ut0AQAS-19af:4a/ct0_0/1?sid=TV2%3AZis7YPmDA>. The survey will remain open through April 15.

Nonprofit Association of Oregon COVID-19 resource page and recorded webinars

Nonprofit Association of Oregon (NAO) had done an awesome job of organizing webinars to assist nonprofits during this time. You can access technical resources, including recordings of previous COVID-19 impact related webinars, and information related to the CARES Act.

Tomorrow they will be having the following webinar on the emergency Small Business Loans, for which nonprofits are eligible.

Ask The Expert Emergency SBA loans and howcan nonprofits access them?
Tuesday, April 7, Noon - 1 p.m. PT
Scott Bossom, Senior Vice President of SBA Lending at Columbia Bank will provide an overview of emergency SBA loans as part of the COVID-19 federal stimulus package legislated recently. The package includes funding for "special emergency loans of up to $10 million for eligible nonprofits and small businesses, permitting them to cover costs of payroll, operations, and debt service, and provides that the loans be forgiven in whole or in part under certain circumstances." What does this mean for Oregon nonprofits? Scott will address this, as well as answer your questions.
