CCAHA bilingual toolkit: Assessing the Preservation Needs of Paper-Based Collections

CCAHA launched a new toolkit, Assessing the Preservation Needs of Paper-Based Collections. Developed in partnership with CENCOR — the Centro de Conservación y Restauración de Puerto Rico — with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), this free, self-paced resource is designed for organizations of any size. It offers practical tools to assess collections, set priorities, and take meaningful preservation actions.

Available in English and Spanish, the toolkit builds on two hybrid courses delivered in 2024 to twelve Puerto Rican collecting organizations. It aims to make preservation planning practical, adaptable, and accessible for all collecting communities.

Take the Oregon nonprofit 2026 Compensation & Benefits Survey

The Nonprofit Association of Oregon (NAO) invites all 501(c)(3) organizations in Oregon to participate in the 2026 Compensation & Benefits Survey! This year, NAO is partnering with six nonprofit associations across the western states – Alaska, Hawai’i, Idaho, Montana, and Washington – to provide a more comprehensive view of nonprofit compensation and benefits.

The survey will include questions about job titles, salaries, and benefits your organization offers. We ask that one person (e.g., Executive Director, Finance, Human Resources, etc.) from each organization complete the survey.

This survey is open until November 14, 2025. Please participate as soon as possible to help us collect the best data.
