Duties include evaluating significance of buildings; coordinating the survey and inventory of historic properties statewide; reviewing, preparing, and monitoring nominations to the National Register of Historic Places; advising and assisting federal, state, and local agencies, as well as members of the public, in the documentation and evaluation of historic properties.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></SPAN></P>

The incumbents will work closely with other SHPO staff, especially those involved in the identification and treatment of significant historic and archaeological properties in Oregon. <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
