involves setting Collection Priorities. What items should the response team address immediately? Perhaps it is an entire collection, or just a few items. Where are the items located? Review your entire collection to set first and second priority items, followed
by lower priorities, if necessary.</span><span style="font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Garamond","serif"; color:black">

<a href="https://thehep.wordpress.com/2015/04/07/prepare-for-mayday-2015-join-the-movement/" target="_blank">
MayDay initiative</a>. This initiative encourages libraries, museums, archives, historical societies, and preservation organizations to set aside May 1 as a time for examining and increasing their preparedness for emergencies.</span></p>
