<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:black">In 2024, </span><span style="color:#1155CC"><a href="https://www.oregon.gov/gov/eo/eo-24-06.pdf"><span style="color:#1155CC">Governor Kotek reconvened the Cultural Items Task Force</span></a></span><span style="color:black">,
with the goal of </span><span style="color:#1155CC"><a href="https://www.oregon.gov/gov/policies/pages/tribal-cultural-items-task-force.aspx"><span style="color:#1155CC">obtaining information relating to tribal cultural items currently held in Oregon repositories</span></a></span><span style="color:black">.
In addition to state agencies, public universities, and community colleges, the Task Force is also asking K12 school districts and museums to join in this important work.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The <a href="https://museum-hub.org/learning-modules/">Museum Learning Hub</a> began as a nationwide initiative organized by the
<a href="https://museum-hub.org/partners/">six U.S. regional museum associations</a> and dedicated to providing free, self-paced training resources for small museums. The inaugural series of online trainings and resource toolkits focused on digital media and
technology topics and was made possible by the <a href="https://www.imls.gov/">Institute of Museum and Library Services</a> National Leadership Grant for Museums.

<p class="MsoNormal">The <i>Workplace Transformation Through Management Training Initiative, </i>funded by a National Leadership Grant for Museums award from <a href="https://westmuse.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=292ba30672daddc0764d36f0a&id=779c4b2819&e=f4886bfe41" target="_blank"><b>IMLS</b></a>,
will expand current offerings to include online workshops and resources to build the capacity of frontline and middle managers. <br>

sites and their legal protections, it aims to strengthen preservation efforts nationwide. “Through the NPA, we are making our history visible, our regulations transparent, and our future more grounded in the stories that made us who we are today.”
