What’s a Secret Sweet Spot, you ask?  Around every corner and in
every town in the Territory, you will find those special places we call
our hidden treasures.  The secret spots you overhear the locals talk
about-attractions, events, eateries, and shopping haunts that are never
found in traditional guidebooks, and now we’re sharing them with
visitors.  Places, sooooo sweet, you’ll rave about them to your
friends and share them with visitors. 
 

Secret Sweet Spots Nominated -- Tell us about your Secret Sweet Spot!
 
Our 2011 spring tourism marketing campaign will once again highlight
Secret Sweet Spots.  We highlighted 10 Secret Sweet Spots in 2010
(Charlie's Mtn. View, Highland Still House, Lavender Bleu Gift & Tea
Room, Joe's Donuts, Ladybug Chocolates, Markum Inn, Red Pig Tools, St.
Josef's Winery, The Bomber, Things From Another World).  We will be
highlighting 12 new businesses next spring through video features on
YouTube, inviting visitors to tell us about their favorite Secret Sweet
Spots through our online sweepstakes.  Businesses nominated or
"Revealed" by visitors as a Secret Sweet Spot receive honorary status,
listing on our website, window decal identifying them as a Secret Sweet
Spot, and business cards for distribution.

We are asking our tourism partners to nominate your favorite Secret
Sweet Spots for consideration as one of our 12 highlighted businesses.
The 12 businesses selected will be interviewed and a YouTube video will
be created and hosted for viewing on www.MtHoodTerritory.com.
