Subject: [HistoricCemeteries] City of Medford accepting applications for Cemetery Commission


The City of Medford is seeking applicants for the Cemetery Commission. 
pplicants are not required to reside in Medford.
The Medford Cemetery Commission meets monthly (if agenda items warrant) at 12 
oon on the 2nd Tuesday, at the Santo Community Center.  They advise staff 
egarding management/maintenance practices for the IOOF/Eastwood Cemetery,  
rite recommendations for same and assist with special events/education on 
ehalf of the cemetery. A few are very hands on and work on special projects, or 
n general, at the site. Sometimes they attend special programs or hands on 
earning programs.  The commission has a budget and help determine priorities 
or use of those earmarked funds.

pplications must be in the hands of the City Managers office by/on Friday, 
ctober 29, 2010. A commissioner serves 3 years.
