Dear Kuri-
I might be able to go down to Salem, for Advocacy Day. I know that Kasi had already sent an email to the address you had forwarded asking to be set up with a carpool down to Salem. We've had some experience this legislative session in talking with the legislatoirs, and Kasi has testified before one of the Senate committees.

Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries meets in Warrenton

The Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries will meet April 9 from 10
a.m.-12:00 p.m. at thePioneer Presbyterian Church at 33324 Patriot Way,
Warrenton. 

Agenda items will include legislative issues, the grant program,
current projects and upcoming plans. The commission will invite public
comments. There will be a tour of the historic Clatsop Plains Cemetery
at 1:00 p.m. The cemetery, established in 1846, is right next to the
church.

State law established the seven-member commission to maintain a listing
of all historic cemeteries and gravesites in Oregon; promote public
education on the significance of historic cemeteries; and help obtain
financial and technical assistance for restoring, improving and
maintaining their appearances. More information about commission
activities and the meeting may be obtained from the Oregon Parks and
Recreation Department?s historic cemeteries program coordinator, Kuri
