Historic Cemeteries Commission holds meeting in Salem 
 
The Oregon Commission on Historic Cemeteries (OCHC) meeting will take
place February 10 at the North Mall Office Building 725 Summer St., room
124A, in Salem. The public OCHC meeting will be at 1:00-4:00. Agenda
items will include grant reports, new online volunteer training, current
projects and upcoming plans. The commission will invite public comments.

The meeting will be accessible by teleconference and online, when
arranged in advance. 


State law established the seven-member commission to maintain a listing
of all historic cemeteries and gravesites in Oregon; promote public
education on the significance of historic cemeteries; and help obtain
financial and technical assistance for restoring, improving and
maintaining their appearances. More information about commission
