Grants available for veterans and war memorials 
 
Oregon Parks and Recreation Department is offering grants for the construction or restoration of veterans and war memorials. The program is designed to help honor Oregon’s soldiers and veterans by commemorating their service to the country.  Details and the application information are available at http://www.oregon.gov/oprd/GRANTS/pages/veterans.aspx.
 
The application deadline is November 8, 2013.
