Oregon Cultural Trust seeks input on strategic planning
Now is the time to include your perspective in the plans for the Oregon Cultural Trust. It is important for all sectors – heritage, humanities and arts – participate in this process.
The Oregon Cultural Trust is seeking community input across Oregon to gather information about local, regional and statewide issues in history, heritage, preservation, humanities, and the arts. We encourage you to participate, share and learn in this important process. The Trust will use the information gathered to develop a strategic plan that will guide the organization over the next five years.
Please share this opportunity far and wide!
The key question to respond to is, “How can the Oregon Cultural Trust find new ways to expand the resources available to cultural institutions in Oregon?”
The Oregon Cultural Trust supports an environment in which cultural organizations are sustained and valued as a core part of vibrant Oregon communities. The Cultural Trust is a provider for Oregon culture, working with its five statewide cultural partners: Oregon Arts Commission; Oregon State Historic Preservation Office; Oregon Humanities; Oregon Heritage Commission; and the Oregon Historical Society. To learn more about the Oregon Cultural Trust, visit www.culturaltrust.org.
The Cultural Trust is a department within Business Oregon, a state agency that ensures a coherent, integrated approach to economic development and a continuous policy direction that can transcend changes in executive and legislative leadership. Business Oregon recognizes the expanding role that culture plays in the broader social, economic and educational arenas of Oregon communities.
