Subject:  It's not too late to be heard! Proposed Rulemaking Input

AS A REMINDER, the scheduled public hearing for all administrative rulemaking will take place tomorrow December 22 2015 at 10am  at 800 NE Oregon Street, Suite 445, Portland, OR  97232.  YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT TO PROVIDE COMMENT.

Written comment via email and fax regarding the proposed rule amendments will be accepted through tomorrow December 22 2015 by 4pm.

Copies of the notices of proposed rulemaking hearing, statement of need and fiscal impact & proposed administrative rules for each rulemaking are available on the Board's website:  http://www.oregon.gov/MortCem/Pages/Rulemaking.aspx

The Oregon Mortuary & Cemetery Board has initiated administrative rulemaking in order to implement 2015 HB2471, relating to qualifications to practice a profession related to the final disposition of human remains.

The Oregon Mortuary & Cemetery Board has initiated administrative rulemaking in order to implement 2015 HB3242, relating to the Temporary Operating Permit for a Cemetery that does not hold a valid license.

The Oregon Mortuary & Cemetery Board has initiated administrative rulemaking in order to implement 2015 HB3243, relating to the Indigent Disposition Program.
