Hi, Kuri,
How are you liking the 'new' job? Trust all is going well; I always find
the mailings from the listserv very informative and interesting! The
posting for the job certainly is enticing!
Do you plan to be in Portland for any of the remaining 'Oregon Connecting
to Collections' workshops? I was really slow off the blocks on this one -
the three I would like to attend on 8/29, 9/12, and 9/30 here in Portland
are, sadly (well, depending on which end of the stick you're on I
guess...), filled, but I did email Katie to ask that I be put on the
waiting lists for those workshops; I said "Hey, I'd be happy to stand in a
corner somewhere!". Do you know if these three workshops will be offered
next year?
I'm planning on showing up for them anyway, just in case - can't hurt!
Maybe I can pull up a chair right outside the door...wait, if it's warm
and they leave a window open, I can set up right outside... If I see you
at any of them, I'll certainly flag you down to say "Hi!"!
Take care, Kuri.
