Dear Liza,
The only Insurance that our Taft Pioneer Cemetery goes through is State Farm for our Business liability.
Our small Cemetery is in Taft, Oregon, you can look us up on our Facebook page.
Good luck,

Subject: [HistoricCemeterieslistserv] Question about historic cemetery insurance
Hello everyone!
I am a new member of this list, as of today, and happy to be here! I am a museum curator and on the board of a very small historic pioneer cemetery here in NW Oregon (Harrison Cemetery near North Plains, OR).
We are contemplating getting some liability insurance to cover our small cemetery on volunteer days and in case of vandalism. I thought this would be a great place to get some opinions.
Does anyone know of policies for small historic cemeteries?
Can you tell me whether they would be worthwhile?
If so, can you recommend compaines in the Pacific NW that may be able to provide this coverage?
We have not found any other small cemetery associations nearby that have it, so its kind of a catch 22 at the moment. Do or don't?
Any info would be really helpful!
Have a great Thanksgiving,
--
