[HistoricCemeterieslistserv] Mortuary and Cemetery Board COVID-19 update and information

To Oregon Mortuary & Cemetery Board Interested Persons:

I hope that you are all doing well.

On Tuesday, January 26th, Governor Brown announced updates to the county risk levels under the state's new public health framework to reduce transmission and protect Oregonians from COVID-19.

As you are all most likely aware, the framework uses four different risk levels for counties based upon COVID-19 spread and assigns health and safety measures for each level:


  1.  Extreme Risk
  2.  High Risk
  3.  Moderate Risk
  4.  Lower Risk

According to the news release<https://www.oregon.gov/newsroom/Pages/NewsDetail.aspx?newsid=54092>, effective Friday, January 29th, through Thursday, February 11th, there will be 25 counties in the Extreme Risk level, 2 counties at the Moderate Risk, and 7 counties at Lower Risk. Additionally, review the current Sector Risk Level Guidance Chart<https://sharedsystems.dhsoha.state.or.us/DHSForms/Served/le3461.pdf>, which is an extremely helpful document to review each risk level - and has been previously provided to you.

As you already know, funeral homes & cemeteries have been specifically identified and the requirements are as follows:
