<DIV>The Oregon Tourism Commission recently opened its Matching Grants<BR>Program for 2011-12 for projects that contribute to the development and<BR>improvement of local economies and communities through enhancement,<BR>expansion and promotion of the visitor industry. Cities, counties, port<BR>districts, federally recognized Tribes and non-profit entities are<BR>eligible for the grants program and must equally match the award amount.<BR>Several steps need to be completed before an application can be<BR>submitted online. The deadline for submitting the application online is<BR>August 22, 2011.
