We have prepared a rough draft as a base, are seeking comments, and will soon meet with a graphics shop. <DIV>Heritage Programs, a division of Oregon Parks and Recreation, is now<BR>accepting applications for four grant programs to help preserve and<BR>develop Oregon’s pre-historic, historic and heritage resources. <BR><BR>Apply now for:<BR><BR>Historic Cemetery Grants - These grants support restoration,<BR>preservation, protection, security, education, training, research and<BR>interpretation of cemeteries established before 1910. Eligible projects<BR>may include, but aren’t limited to: security needs, training,<BR>conservation of historic elements such as curbs, markers, etc.,<BR>documentation and mapping, signage, landscape restoration and planning.<BR><BR>Oregon Heritage Grants - These matching grants to non-profit<BR>organizations, federally recognized tribal governments and local<BR>governments support projects that conserve, develop or interpret<BR>Oregon’s heritage. <BR><BR>Museum Grants - These support Oregon museums in projects for the<BR>collection and management of heritage collections, for heritage-related<BR>tourism, and heritage education and interpretations.
