Dear Kuri,<div><br></div><div>On another topic.....the Union Point Cemetery in Banks Oregon, for which I am Treasurer and Board member, would like to know how important it is to have a Lawyer associated with the board. We have, since I can remember for maybe 20 years, had a relationship with a Lawyer who has family ties to the cemetery. He attended meeting and filled out annual forms for the state etc. That relationship has changed over the years and may be at the point of expiring so to speak. My question is "How vital is it to have such a relationship?" Is it common practice in Oregon for a cemetery of our nature to have a Lawyer relationship? Does your organization either furnish such services or could you direct us to Legal council it where needed on our part?</div>
<div><br></div><div>We have an annual meeting the first w/e in February and your response may help us decide where our future leads.</div><div><br></div><div>It would also be prudent not to make this request public at this time as the Cemetery Board is the only party privy to this discussion.</div>
<div><br></div><div>Thank you for your time and energy.</div><div><br></div><div>Sincerely,</div><div>Bill Schlegel</div><div>Treasurer</div><div>Union Point Cemetery</div><div>Banks Oregon</div><div><br><div class="gmail_quote">
