<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">“The
Heritage Commission serves as a catalyst and coordinator for more than
1,000 non-profit organizations that gather heritage and make it
available to the public,” said commission coordinator Kyle Jansson. “The
plan’s goals link the work of the Heritage Commission and the heritage
organizations and initiatives across the state.”</font></font></p>

<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">The draft plan focuses on four areas: collections, economic development and tourism, communications, and education.</font></font></p>
<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font face="Times New Roman" size="3"> </font></p>
<p style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class="MsoNormal"><font size="3"><font face="Times New Roman">The
plan was developed after commissioners reviewed four studies, including
one by a Legislative Task Force on Heritage Vitality.</font></font></p>
