my passions is correct record keeping of the cemeteries. Guess you can say
that is my theme as chair of the Oregon Historic Cemeteries Commission.
Because of those dedicated people who keep the records of the cemeteries, there

omission of genealogy society staff and volunteers as conference attendees was
noted with concern. For example all records relating to historic cemeteries,
activities for preservation in the field, and coordination with cemetery
associations throughout Jackson County are routine ongoing functions
of the Jackson County Genealogy Library (owned and operated by the Rogue Valley
Genealogy Society). Preservation of historic cemeteries and records is,
and has been, a priority since society inception 48 years ago. Please don’t
forget or ignore the role of genealogists in your efforts.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
