<p class="MsoNormal">The Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) is seeking a volunteer to fill one open position on the committee that reviews applications for the Veterans and War Memorial Grant Program.
<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span class="or-rtestyle-bodytext">The Veterans and War Memorials Grant Program was established to provide funding to local governments for the construction and restoration of veterans’ and war memorials. The program honors Oregon’s soldiers
and veterans by commemorating their service to the country. </span> <br>

<p class="MsoNormal">The applications are reviewed by the OPRD Local Government Grant Advisory Committee and two other people who represent either a veterans’ organization or a government agency responsible for the administration of law relating to veterans.

<p class="MsoNormal">The department is currently seeking a member who represents a veterans’ organization. The term of service is four years. The next grant review will be this summer. Please submit a letter of interest before June 15 to Kuri Gill at
