<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><i>Oregon State Archives has opened a new exhibit featuring photographs of cemeteries around the state.  The images offer a look at the wide range of ways that people represent
 themselves and their loved ones in death.  The exhibit shows cemeteries in diverse settings all around Oregon – from farmland to deserts to mountains. Thirty three photographic panels make up the exhibit and include descriptions about the image, show the location
 of the cemetery and gives information about the site. </i><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><i>The photographs in the exhibit were taken by Senior Archivist Gary Halvorson while traveling the state conducting historical county records surveys for the State Archives.
</i><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="mso-margin-top-alt:auto;mso-margin-bottom-alt:auto"><i>The exhibit is located in the lobby gallery of the State Archives building and is open from 8:00 to noon and 1:00 to 4:45 Monday through Friday.</i><o:p></o:p></p>
