This webinar was developed in collaboration with the NASTAD Sex Worker Health and Harm Reduction workgroup.

 

Harm reduction programs often offer sexual and reproductive health services and referrals to address barriers to care for participants, particularly those who engage in sex work and people who use drugs. The effects of new policies and rulings further limiting access to safe abortion care are likely to be felt most by communities that already face stigma and criminalization, including the communities noted above. Syringe services programs and other harm reduction service providers have unique opportunities to share information and resources with their communities and to better understand and address the sexual and reproductive needs of the people they serve.



Please join NASTAD and the Sex Worker Health and Harm Reduction Workgroup to discuss the role of harm reduction and drug user health programs in supporting access to sexual health services and abortion care for people who do sex work and people who use drugs. Speakers will include a sexual health and abortion care provider who works with harm reduction programs and program staff from an SSP/sexual health clinic partnership.
