End HIV/STI Oregon is a statewide initiative to end new HIV transmissions in Oregon. Since its launch in December 2016, public and private partners from communities across Oregon have been working together to raise awareness, increase testing, prevent new infections, provide treatment, and end the inequities that fuel transmission of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STI). Oregon pharmacists are key partners in these efforts! Specifically, pharmacists and technicians play an important role in helping more people access PrEP and PEP, especially in rural areas.

Through August 25, 2024, the Oregon Health Authority HIV/STD/TB section will be providing Oregon pharmacists and pharmacy technicians with free access to this online training course developed by the Oregon State University College of Pharmacy.

We hope many of you will be able to take the training and can start helping address barriers to PrEP and PEP access in your communities. Thank you for your efforts to end new HIV and STI transmissions in Oregon!
