This toolkit was originally developed in 2018 to assist HIV service providers to take action in becoming trauma-informed and to apply the concepts in their service provision. NASTAD just released its updated and expanded version, which covers the basics of trauma, provides an overview of the impact of trauma in people with HIV, and describes trauma-informed approaches and strategies; however, it also centers healing and includes new components such as organizational trauma and resilience, and workforce wellness.
