Newly Updated and Expanded: Certification in HIV PrEP Navigation
While the need for HIV prevention continues to increase in the face of a decreasing HIV care workforce, education and training of an expanded PrEP workforce is more important than ever. Receive your certification in HIV PrEP navigation by enrolling in the free HealthHIV HIV PrEP Navigation(tm) Certification (HIVPNC) Program that features leading providers and PrEP navigators in the field discussing expert strategies for PrEP navigation and maintenance.
By participating in this free certification program, learners will:
· Demonstrate their commitment to delivering patient-centered PrEP care;
· Develop skills to assist patients in identifying appropriate PrEP, gaining access to PrEP medications, remaining adherent to PrEP, and navigating life changes that require changes in their PrEP care;
· Receive a certification in HIV PrEP navigation;
· Earn up to 4.0 credit hours (CME, MOC, AAPA, NCPD, CPE, ASWB, CHES); and
· Connect to the dynamic HIV prevention landscape so that your patients can benefit from new innovations!
The HIVPNC program highlights the importance of PrEP navigation staff to support patients in gaining access to and overcoming barriers to PrEP usage, and in establishing safe spaces for culturally-competent and patient-centered navigation along the PrEP care continuum. Upon successful completion of all modules in this program, participants earn their HIV PrEP Navigation Certification (HIVPNC) and receive a listing in the national online directory of HIVPNCs.

Amid growing need and tightening budgets, improving access to sexual health services remains a major challenge. As we discussed in our summer conference series, new approaches and innovative thinking are urgently needed.

To stimulate that thinking, the STI International Exchange (STIIX) is pleased to announce our new webinar series every Tuesday in January 2025 at 2pm EST.

Building on our summer series, the new series will focus on one innovative approach that is having a significant impact on public health in other parts of the world: at-home testing focusing on HIV, STIs and viral hepatitis.

This four-part series will look at home testing / home self-collection in detail, and how we can enhance and tackle STI rates with constrained public health budgets. To register click the links below:
