Do you know where your supplies come from? Do you know what is happening with the millions spent on naloxone & FTS in your state? Have we gotten complacent with the politics of supply sourcing and products? Did supply sourcing and procurement become a "burden" from which others have relieved us? Did your state just spend tens of thousands of dollars in fiscal year end spend-down with extractive for-profit companies? Is your program supporting efforts to reimagine a way to invest in harm reduction?
Want to work together to change things up? Join us for a conversation that re-radicalizes the MOST boring sounding thing in harm reduction: supply procurement!
We have a short window of opportunity to change the playing field for harm reduction and redirect resources away from for-profit and back to the innovators of harm reduction and overdose prevention efforts. We really, really need for supply-sourcing to be re-prioritized and re-politicized.
We have a plan. The Remedy Alliance Board of Directors approved a 2024 annual operating budget that redirects more than ONE MILLION DOLLARS back to harm reduction programs. Smoke Works just launched the MAP & STEP programs that provide FREE & deeply discounted injection alternative supplies. Points Of Distribution provides fiscal sponsorship support to new programs and operates a SUPPLY GAP FUND. This trio of nonprofit vendors have just established a $50,000 "unfundable supplies fund" to ensure that even if your program loses (or never had) funding, you are still able to access supplies. Our proceeds are being put to good use. **To be very clear- nothing is actually free. The money we use to spend on these initiatives comes from our sales to funded programs.
Join us to strategize opportunities to reinvest in harm reduction services.
Hope to see you soon!

We ensure harm reduction programs have sustainable and equitable access to low-cost naloxone for distribution in their communities.
