HIV/STD/TB Section:  LPHA Community Service Award
The HIV/STD/TB (HST) Section of the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) is soliciting nominations for our annual LPHA Community Service Award, to be presented at the Oregon Epidemiologists' Meeting, April 23rd to April 25th, 2025 at Sunriver, OR.
This award is meant to honor an LPHA staff person or program that has made a distinguished, unique or exceptional contribution to the field of HIV/STD/TB prevention and/or care, improving the lives of Oregonians. Last year we presented the 1st annual award to Debra Richardson from Coos County Public Health for being a syphilis prevention champion.
Nominees of this award should have demonstrated a commitment to and perseverance in developing or supporting advances in HIV/STI/TB through:

  *   Critical partnerships
  *   Innovations or innovative methods, and/or
  *   Community engagement, particularly aligned with priority populations as defined in the End HIV/STI 5-Year Strategy<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/DISEASESCONDITIONS/HIVSTDVIRALHEPATITIS/IPG/Documents/Oregon_Strategy_2022-2026.pdf>  or the TB elimination mission<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/ph/diseasesconditions/communicabledisease/tuberculosis/pages/index.aspx>.
