Webinar: NACCHO STI Testing and Treatment in Non-Clinical Settings

Monday, 5/19 | 2pm EDT/11am PDT **Make-up date for cancelled webinar when Zoom crashed**
Sexually transmitted infections like syphilis and HIV disproportionately impact people who use drugs and those with substance use disorders. We will have presentations and discussion on providing STI and HIV testing and treatment in non-clinical settings reaching community members through harm reduction, providing testing alongside other valuable services in a community-based setting. Panelists from Arapahoe County Public Health in CO and the Cabell-Huntington Health Department in West Virginia will share insights and how they work to meet people where they are. The new National STD Curriculum<https://www.std.uw.edu/> 3rd Edition addresses the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of STDs and STIs via 9 lessons, 28 Question Bank topics with 200+ interactive case-based questions, and a podcast. Registered learners can earn up to 30 free CME/CNE/CE, 12 pharmacology CE for APNs, or Certificates of Completion if CE isn’t needed.
