<p class="Default"><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:windowtext">On behalf of the Oregon Sustainability Board, I want to bring to your attention the upcoming Oregon Environmental Justice Pathways Summit at the University of Oregon on April
17-18. The Board, along with the Environmental Justice Task Force (EJTF), has endorsed this Summit for its important role in advancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in Oregon. The Event is supported by many community partners such as Meyer
Memorial Trust, Center for Environmental Futures, University of Oregon, Spring Creek Project, Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde and the Wayne Morse Center for Law and Politics. We encourage your agency to attend and participate in the Summit.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">For the past two years, the Sustainability Board has collaborated with the Governor’s Office, EJTF, Beyond Toxics, agencies and others to help support consideration of equity and sustainability among state
agencies. The Board’s revised agency guidelines for sustainability plans includes a section on equity to assist agencies in considering equity, alongside environmental topics, as they work to address sustainability in their operations and programs.

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt">The EJ Summit, hosted by Beyond Toxics and NAACP, will provide a venue and platform for agencies to join frontline communities, other government officials, scholars and students to collectively increase and
advance a shared knowledge of, and action for, a more just and sustainable Oregon. Details regarding the Summit, along with a formal invitation from Summit organizers, is attached to this email.
