<p class="MsoNormal">I wanted to share with you the latest version of the DAS Strategic Plan. As is discussed in the Sustainability Board’s Sustainability Plan Guidelines, providing some reference to sustainability in your agency’s strategic plan helps embed
sustainability from the top down and indicate your leadership’s support for sustainability. <o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">The prior DAS Strategic plan included a reference to sustainability and energy efficiency under Key Goals. That reference is still in this version. However, DAS has added a new Values statement indicating that the agency will invest in
sustainable operations for a better climate future – specifically calling out climate change.

<p class="MsoNormal">I encourage you to share this with your leadership and to consider how your agency can strategically support sustainability and climate change efforts.<o:p></o:p></p>
