Good Afternoon, a reminder and update for you:

Comments Due - Friday, July 15
Thank you to those that attended one of our seven open house events in June.  There is still time to submit comments through an anonymous online survey.  The deadline is this Friday, July 15.  You can access the survey here: http://bit.ly/iwrsdroughtcomments.  All of the public input and comments will be shared with the Water Resources Commission at their next meeting in August.  We will also post all comments to the IWRS project website.

Drought Task Force Established - Consider Joining the Mailing List
The Water Resources Department has created a new mailing list for a recently appointed task force focused on drought emergency response.  If you would like to receive updates about the task force, you can subscribe to the mailing list here: http://listsmart.osl.state.or.us/mailman/listinfo/hb_4113.  More information about the Drought Task Force, established by HB 4113 in 2016, can be found on this website<http://www.oregon.gov/owrd/Pages/HB_4113.aspx>.

The first meeting of the Drought Task Force is scheduled for Tuesday, July 19, 2016.  The meeting will begin at 8:00 am in the Department of State Lands building, Land Board Room, 775 Summer St. NE Suite 100 Salem, OR 97301.  Meetings are open to the public.
