Good Afternoon -

The Water Resources Department wanted to share some updates with you regarding the 2012 Integrated Water Resources Strategy.  See attached newsletter, which includes announcements related to the following topics:


*         Time to update the 2012 Integrated Water Resources Strategy

*         2016 Policy Advisory Group named (First meeting:  March 30, 2016)

*         What will water demands look like in 2050? New demand forecast available

*         Four pilots selected for place-based integrated water resources planning

*         Oregon designates two new scenic waterways

*         Monitoring strategy released

Throughout 2016, the Department will continue to use an electronic mailing list to share any updates, upcoming meetings, or other announcements as we update Oregon's Integrated Water Resources Strategy, due in 2017.
