[IWRS] Meeting Notice: State-Supported Regional Water Planning and Management Workgroup Meeting

You are receiving this email because you signed up for the Oregon Water Resources Department Integrated Water Resources Strategy (IWRS) listserv, the Water Resources Commission listserv, or otherwise indicated interest in this work group.  This email contains information about a work group effort that is furthering the goals of the IWRS.

The Oregon Water Resources Department and Oregon Consensus invite you to the second meeting of the State-Supported Regional Water Planning and Management Workgroup<https://www.oregon.gov/owrd/programs/Planning/water_planning_mgmt_group_hb5006/Pages/default.aspx> on Tuesday, March 8 from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

This Workgroup was created with the passage of HB 5006, which directed the Oregon Water Resources Department and Oregon Consensus to convene a workgroup of balanced membership to "develop a framework and path for state-supported water planning and management at the water region and/or basin level" that considers "regional water management opportunities that build on the 100 Year Water Vision and further the goals of the Integrated Water Resources Strategy." Following an initial assessment phase by Oregon Consensus (summary available here<https://apps.wrd.state.or.us/apps/misc/vault/vault.aspx?Type=WrdNotice&notice_item_id=8855>), the first meeting of the Workgroup took place on January 31 (meeting summary available here<https://apps.wrd.state.or.us/apps/misc/vault/vault.aspx?Type=WrdNotice&notice_item_id=8859>).
