Another interesting obesity prevention funding opportunity - especially for those communities with populations at high risk due to limited income, geography and race/ethnicity.
Call for Proposals: Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities Program
Deadline: February 3, 2009
The Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) has announced a new call for proposals for Healthy Kids, Healthy Communities, a national program whose primary goal is to implement healthy eating and active living policy initiatives that can support healthier communities for children and families across the United States. The program places special emphasis on reaching children at highest risk for obesity on the basis of race/ethnicity, income and/or geographic location.
