*Please excuse the cross-posting.

Hello! Washington Learning Systems has translated the "On-the-Go" early literacy activities for parents to use with their children into Russian and Somali. Previously they had only been in Spanish and English. You can download them for free at: http://www.walearning.com/parent-tools/on-the-go/. You may want to explore their website if you have time. They provide a variety of other resources you may find useful in your work.

Librarians, these make great handouts at storytimes and resources for early literacy parents education sessions.

Reading for Healthy Families participants, this is one section in the Point-of-Contact materials you received in a binder at your training.

Hopefully these resources will help you reach even more parents with the early literacy message.

We are writing to let you know that our free parent-child literacy activity materials have a new location on our updated website. We are trying to make it a little easier for you to find the specific parent handouts you want.
Supporting Literacy in Natural Environments: Activities for Caregivers and Young Children are at www.walearning.com. On our home page, you will find a button on the right labeled "Download Free Parent Tools." You can select among materials for preschoolers, infants, and On-the-Go activities.
We currently have free parent handouts in English, Spanish, Somali, and Russian
We have also added new resources on the website for educators, librarians, and other professionals serving young children:
            Research Updates

            Tips for Educators
We will be updating these resources regularly and invite your comments. Next month we will be posting more free materials. Please sign up for our mailing list to continue to receive notices about free materials when they are posted on our website.
