[kids-lib] CSD MAY: Thanks, Welcome and Help!

Happy almost-Summer-Reading! Between preparing for school visits and
programs, I'm both excited and somehow already exhausted!

THANKS
A big thank you to everyone who volunteered on CSD Board 25-26. With
heartfelt gratitude I want to recognize: Jaime Thoreson, Holly
Campbell-Polivka, Laura Baca, and Aurora Ropp.

WELCOME
We're saying hello to new members on our CSD Board for 26-27. Stepping up
to support our work are: Jana Wiersma, Communications Coordinator; Linda
Osuna and Serena Davis, Awards Committee Co-Chairs; Hilary Tsukakoshi,
Summer Reading Representative; and Cyndi Park, Presenter Directory
Coordinator. And there's more! You'll soon receive a ballot to vote on
Chair Elect nominee Tabby Mothershead.

HELP
*Workshop Coordinator* Do you like creating opportunities for connection
and learning? CSD would love your help as a Workshop Coordinator. You'd
work with a small committee to plan yearly workshops, including a Mock
Media Award workshop every other year.

*OASL Panelists Needed *We're looking for people with great ideas to share
at the OASL Conference this fall around two topics: mock workshops/book
connections with kids and teens (partnering with OYAN) and successful
school/public library partnerships.
