Talking Book and Braille Services is gearing up to have all three featured books
(<U>Stubborn Twig</U>, <U>Bat6</U>, and <U>Apples to Oregon</U>) accessible in
Braille and audio cassette. </SPAN></DIV>

<DIV><SPAN class=671152216-15082008>Because <U>Apples to Oregon</U> is a
children's book, the Braille version is imprinted in a format called
"twin-vision" or "print-Braille." This means that the Braille copy of the
book looks just like the regular picture book, but has the <SPAN
class=296525315-18082008>Braille </SPAN>imprinted over each page on clear
plastic pages.<SPAN class=296525315-18082008> <FONT color=#ff0000><FONT
color=#000000>This allows you to use the book during storytime just
as you normally would, but also provides an opportunity for the children
to see and feel Braille and to have a conversation about another
unique Oregon experience, that of visually impaired children.</FONT>

Oregon</U> is maintained by Pheasantland Industries' Braille Unit in South
Dakota. Pheasantland will create copies on-demand for about $5 each, with
