<div>This position a Senior Librarian for the Youth Services
Section. The Salem Library is searching for an experienced, enthusiastic
and responsible Senior Librarian to deliver solid professional library
services to the public. The job involves performing reference and
reader's advisory services to patrons; driving Salem Bookmobile and
presenting programs for school children; conducting Youth Services
collection development and maintenance; delivering program development
and presentation for children and teens; delivering workshop
presentations for adults, including preparation of PowerPoint programs;
preparing booklists; teaching computer instruction classes for youth;
conducting workshops for other librarians; and assisting with writing
articles for library newsletter and other publications. </div>
<div><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong> <br><strong>Education:</strong><br>Graduation from a four-year college or university supplemented by a Masters degree in library science;<br><strong>Experience:</strong> </div>
<div>At least five (5) years of progressively responsible professional
library work, preferably including experience in the area of
assignment; or any combination of education, training or experience
