Jim Gill will be giving a FREE concert at the Tower Theatre in Bend on June 19
at 1:00. Each year Deschutes Public Library brings in a children’s
author or illustrator as the StoryStar!, and this year they selected Jim
because of his highly energetic music that promotes family interaction, and
early literacy skills. Jim’s new book and CD, <i>Soup Opera,</i> was
named a 2010 ALSC Notable Recording, as was <i>Jim Gill Sings Moving Rhymes for
Moving Times</i> in 2007. If you are interested in attending his concert
