<a href="http://www.ifla.org/files/assets/libraries-for-children-and-ya/publications/social_media_children_and_young_adults.pdf">
statement on safe usage of social media for children and young adults</a>. The document offers tips on protecting safety and privacy online as well as good online behavior.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">The statement has a message for the children: how to enjoy online resources safely and responsibly, and how to deal with possible unpleasant situations. The statement also provides tips for
the parents and library professionals on how to support children and young people utilize the possibilities of learning, entertainment and communication online safely.
