 for youth and adults as a way of promoting STEM education (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The challenge is that coding is often a new skill for librarians and library staff who are responsible for offering programs. The good news is that you
 don’t have to be an expert in computer science to offer effective educational programs that teach coding skills. There are many free resources that can be used as a guide to starting a coding club at your library, no experience required.<br>

 use a coding curriculum for children in K-5<sup>th</sup> grade that was created by
<a href="https://code.org/">Code.org</a>. The curriculum is designed so you can present a series of activities that build on one another. However, you may use the curriculum to present one-off activities too—whatever works best for you and your library.
