<div dir="ltr">A note on Story the Cat: Our Director and Board made the decision to bring Story aboard when she was a kitten. There have been pros and cons to her library life, but we have had 99% positive feedback from the cmmunity. I am reading this email while watching two families admire our Axolotl, Axl Rose? Axl has been a super fun addition to the library! We had a birthday celebration last spring when Axl turned a year old. After he joined the library Minecraft updated with an axolotl version. This made his popularity among our young patrons soar.<br>

I would have to pass on going into a library with an animal because I know it would make me cough/sneeze/generally set me off. I am not an animal hater, in fact I have talked my husband into the current corgi that lives (and sheds) in our home now and in the past have had cats. What mom?s do for their kids!! However, as a Library Director I would have to pass knowing that allergies are a real obstacle for people and wouldn?t want to do anything to deter patrons from coming to the library. Not only animals can be an issue but also people that wear strong perfume. Yikes, that?s a whole other topic!<br>
