<p class="MsoNormal">There’s been a lot of good stuff on the east side this week: LaGrande is hosting an
<a href="https://www.lagrandeobserver.com/community/eastern-oregon-university-student-art-on-display-at-cook-memorial-library/article_7775c32c-e105-11ef-a1a2-e36c39fd7298.html">
Eastern Oregon University art exhibit</a>. The Dalles hosted a <a href="https://columbiacommunityconnection.com/the-dalles/wasco-public-library-hosts-kid-friendly-cooking-class-with-tdhs-chefs">
cooking class for elementary kids</a> taught by high schoolers. Harney County <a href="https://www.facebook.com/harneycountylibrary/posts/pfbid0N8JL42MwixP9QUzADNmPv84voM4Sbw52cPiVUxq731jSVi7pEjP3U6vZktfHJcUml">
opened their new makerspace</a> to cheers and applause. Baker County <a href="https://www.facebook.com/BCLD.BakerLibrary/posts/pfbid02GX54bFrwcFfrMyq1Lf8LMACDYGM6VbWr31ETFMhFXDxA82L3JNmx1dEmcsxUfFPyl">
got some good fan mail</a>. Pendleton offers a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/pendletonpubliclibrary/posts/pfbid02ejkK5KtwL9pw2zigzq2hLpP7sKrTBGCUzgEhXKDNPErXDaijyaejpGM3zDrSo3L3l">
special needs family time</a> to make sure all families get what they need. <o:p>

<p class="MsoNormal">To help beat the wintertime/ice and snow blues, there is a lot of music coming our way – Deschutes

hosts an all-ages singalong</a>, Albany is hosting a <a href="https://www.facebook.com/albanypubliclibrary/posts/pfbid02oupYQRtDsKAFkWzsdwaAxzyi77am4BJzqi9UsLwSneJWH5XR65xo8rkDpP7cYRqTl">
Wicked singalong</a> (sign me up!), and next week North Tillamook hosts <a href="https://www.tillamookheadlightherald.com/community/musical-storytime-at-north-tillamook-library/article_2fa7d092-e297-11ef-8079-7399b06230a6.html">

cataloguing Oregon’s truffles at the University of Oregon</a>. I probably keep thinking about it because I really need a dog at my house, but it’s a great reminder we are lucky to live in such an ecologically rich place, with people working to understand, share,
