Policies - I am certain that the PHAB reviewers assigned will come from
organizations that have both management and represented employees and
will know your dilemma; if i were preparing i would probably pick the
one that covers the largest portion of my PH workforce and attach note
there are other groups that have policies but the overlap is 90+% and
the differences are trivial for this level of review.

Pursuit - i also am curious who will be applying in 2011.

Hello!

I was hoping someone could help me out with a question I had on Part A
and the standards relating to personnel policies. We are running into
the issue of multiple policies for each requirement.

For example in A 1.4 : Hours of Work, Benton County has a policy
provided by the Human Resources department internally for exempted staff
and one for the AFSCME Union employees also pertaining to hours of work.
Finally, we have an ONA policy for these same criteria for the nursing
staff.

My question is should we include all of these policies as evidence? We
are not to provide more evidence that asked for, but each policy is
relevant to a specific group. If we are to choose one policy, which
takes precedence over the rest?

Also, I was curious to see which counties are actively pursuing
accreditation this year?

Thank you!

Divneet
