We have our local hospital on board and they are very interested in collaborating and getting data since they do not have community wide data only hospital ( clinical data). What we are struggling with right now is how to find those key informants in the community - - any thoughts or ideas would be helpful

Subject: [LHDAccreditation] NACCHO factsheet on Hospital Community Benefit Requirement and CHA/CHIP

This new factsheet outlines the hospital community benefit requirement and makes recommendations for how to engage the non-profit hospital community in community health assessment and improvement (specifically with MAPP). I've found the explanation of the community benefit more helpful than their recommendations on how to engage these folks.... but it is good to know this conversation is happening at the national level.
